10K BBP Launch Cohort

The Launch Cohort is the first phase of MBCC's 10,000 Black Business Program. It gives early-stage Black business owners in Minnesota cohort-based training and technical assistance in business management, marketing and branding, legal, and accounting, alongside peers who are starting out at the same time.

Who should join the 10K BBP Launch Cohort?
The Launch Cohort is for small business owners in the early stages of business. If you are formalizing an idea, recently registered your business, or need a stronger foundation before you grow, this cohort gives you structured training and a supportive network of peers to build with.
Applicants must meet 10K BBP eligibility: at least 51% Black-owned, gross revenue of $1M or less, and based in Minnesota.

What does the Launch Cohort cover?
Launch Cohort training focuses on the four areas early-stage owners ask for most: business management, marketing and branding, legal, and accounting. Each area is covered through technical assistance and training, so participants leave with practical systems they can put to work right away.
